Imprint & Privacy Policy

This page explains who runs the ALADIN survey pages and how they handle information when you visit and when you respond to a survey. The pages are operated by Mitwill Textiles Europe sarl as part of the ALADIN project. They are anonymous by default: we do not use cookies and we do not need any personal information to take part, which is why you won't see a cookie or consent banner. Some surveys additionally offer a clearly optional email field — if, and only if, you choose to fill it in, that one piece of personal data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, as described below.
The short version
- No cookies, and nothing is stored in your browser (no local or session storage).
- We don't store your IP address or build a device fingerprint.
- We don't track you across other sites, and there are no third-party ad or analytics trackers.
- If you submit a survey, we keep your answers and a coarse country — nothing that identifies you.
- An email address is only ever collected where a survey explicitly offers an optional field and you consent.
Who is responsible (Imprint)
The data controller responsible for these pages and for the processing described here is:
- Mitwill Textiles Europe sarl
- 104 rue des Bains, 68390 Sausheim, France
- Contact: privacy@mitwilltextiles.eu
The survey is run as part of the ALADIN project; responses are processed for, and shared within, the ALADIN project consortium for the purposes set out below.
What we collect when you submit a survey
If you choose to fill in and send a survey, we store:
- Your answers — the ratings and choices you select and any text you type into the survey fields.
- Which concept page the response came from, so we can tell the campaigns apart.
- A coarse country (e.g. "France"), derived from your connection at the moment you submit. We use only the country — we do not keep your IP address.
- The date and time of the submission.
We do not store anything that identifies you personally, so the responses cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.
Optional email and your consent
Some surveys include a clearly optional field inviting you to leave an email address if you'd like us to follow up. Providing it is entirely voluntary, and a survey that asks for it will only store it once you have ticked the consent box. If you provide your email, it will be used only for ALADIN project-related communication and will not be shared with third parties outside the ALADIN consortium. If you leave it blank, your response stays fully anonymous. You may withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your email at any time by contacting us at privacy@mitwilltextiles.eu; withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew.
Legal basis for processing
Anonymous survey responses contain no personal data, so they fall outside the GDPR; we process them on the basis of our legitimate interest in researching and validating the concepts. Where you choose to provide an optional email address, we process that personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the consent box on the survey.
How we use this information
We collect and process your survey responses, and any optional email you provide, solely to analyse the ALADIN project and to share the results of this survey within the consortium. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the ALADIN project.
Aggregate, cookieless measurement
To understand overall interest, we count things like page views and basic interactions in aggregate. This is done without cookies and without identifying individuals — it tells us how many people engaged, not who they are.
Where it's processed
These pages and their backend are hosted on Bunny.net's infrastructure, which serves the content and stores the survey responses on our behalf as our processor.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the ALADIN research and results behind each concept, after which survey responses are deleted or retained only in aggregate form. Any optional email you provide is removed once it is no longer needed for follow-up, when you withdraw consent, or sooner on request.
Your rights
Because survey responses are anonymous, we generally cannot link a stored response back to you in order to retrieve or delete it individually. Where you have provided an optional email, the GDPR gives you the right to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, or if you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@mitwilltextiles.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
